Parents,

School Bus fees are based on several factors. A bus fee is required if your student:

• Attends grade K - 6 and lives within a two-mile driving distance to school or
• Attends grade 7 - 12 regardless of driving distance

This map will help you when considering bus transportation for your child. As a reference, the blue line shows the approximate driving distance from your house location to the school. This distance is measured by driving on Chelmsford roads, not a straight line from home to school. Actual school entrances may vary from that shown on the map.

There are some circumstances where bus fees may be waived based on certain Special Education and Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program eligibility requirements. Also, not every property neatly falls within the two-mile distance set by the State of Massachusetts. This map is for reference only and should be used as a guide along with the maps found by following this link: Town of Chelmsford GIS maps by school.
