  • CHS Fall Athletic Parent Information Night is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 PM in the Performing Arts Center.  All parents of fall athletes are expected to attend.  This is a great opportunity for parents to get important information, hear from our CHS Booster Club and meet the coaches who will be working with your child for the next 2-3 months.

  • 2014 Fall Starting Dates/times
    Students interested in participating in a Fall sport will try out on the date/times listed in in the File Attached Here. Prospective athletes are expected to attend daily double sessions on Thursday, August 21st and Friday, August 22nd,    including a single session on Saturday, August 23rd.  Try-outs continue with single sessions throughout the week of August 25th and end on Friday (or possibly Saturday).  Football starting dates differ.

  • ALL 2014 Athletic Registration Information

     On-Line Registration Opens on June 25, 2014

    Parents/Guardians, Complete the Registration on the Athletic Website.

    Please read and follow these steps carefully to be fully registered.  IMPORTANT:  You are only registered once ALL steps are completed.  Failure to complete Steps 1-3 by August 11, 2014 will delay ALL athletic related activity on the designated first day of tryouts. 

    Step 1:  All students who plan to participate in athletics must have a physical examination within thirteen months of the start of each season.  Per state law and the MIAA, physical examinations that expire result in immediate ineligibility until a new physical examination has taken place.  Physical examinations must be performed by a duly registered physician, physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner.  Athletes WILL NOT be allowed to participate without having a physical examination in good standing.

    Step 2:  Read the Try-Out Clearance Info and Rules for Athletics and the State Mandated Concussion Procedures and Paperwork carefully.  This is under the Athletic Clearance Information section on the left side of the Athletics web page.

    *For Steps 3 & 4 both links are under the Registration Tab on the MCC site.  To get to this site click on Athletic Registration and User Fee located on the left side of the athletic web page.  Please note on-line registrations will open on June 25, 2014.

    Step 3:  Fill out and submit the Online Registration FormThe link is on the left side of the Athletic Web Page.  Click on Fall 2014 Student Athletic registration.

    Step 4:  Pay your User Fee online.  (Same link as above, under Fall 2014 Athletic User Fee).

    ·       The User Fees are due by Friday, August 29th (after teams have been selected). 

    ·       Football User Fees are due immediately.  (They must be paid before you can pick up your helmet).

    Step 5:  Once you complete these steps, you are registered and can fully participate in the Chelmsford High School Athletic Program.


    Monday, August 18:  Football, Grades 10-12 9:00 AM

    Wednesday, August 20:  Football, Grade 9 6:00 PM

    Thursday, August 21:  All other Fall Sports besides Swimming.

    Monday, August 25:  Swimming and Diving

  • Incoming Freshman Fall Athletic Information Night

    For Parents and Prospective Athletes



    There will be a meeting held in the CHS gym on Tuesday, June17th at 6:30 PM for all incoming freshman that are interested in one of thefall sports listed below.  Please makeevery effort to attend this important meeting with your child, importantathletic information will be discussed and you will have an opportunity to meetthe coaches.
