Dear Byam Families,
“It is hard to believe the end of the school year is here” is something said every year, probably because it rings true at the close of school. So much goes into those 180 days that it can seem surreal that students won’t be coming through the front doors the next day. The end of the school year also gives us a time to reflect and take stock in all the learning and accomplishments that happen in many facets of school life. I want to acknowledge the dedicated and talented staff at Byam who put countless time in preparing for each school day and care deeply about the work they do and the students in their care. I also want to recognize our wonderful Byam School community. Thank you to all of our families who mean so much to the fabric of our school. Your involvement and support is truly appreciated. Finally, I want to celebrate our amazing students. I am impressed each day by our student scholars, authors, poets, artists, musicians, actors and athletes. They are what make Byam such a great place to learn and grow! We wish the best of luck to our students and families who are moving on. You will be missed and hopefully will bring a little bit of Byam with you. I also want to welcome our new students and families to Byam for the upcoming school year. As I conclude my first school year I want to express that is has been an honor and a pleasure serve as the principal of Byam this year. Enjoy all the special moments that summertime brings and we will see you in September.
