Dr. Molly McMahon, Principal
About Dr. McMahon:
Dr. McMahon will be entering her ninth year as the Principal of South Row Elementary School in the Chelmsford Public Schools. Previous to being in Chelmsford Dr. McMahon served as the Assistant Principal of the Fitzgerald Elementary School in Waltham. Before that, she was a Clinical Supervisor of student teachers at Boston College, while completing her Ph.D. and Administrative Internship in the Boston Public Schools. Dr. McMahon taught both third grade and then seventh and eighth grade ELA in Chicago. Originally from Long Island, Dr. McMahon is enjoying working and living in New England. Dr. McMahon’s educational passions include parent engagement, social-emotional learning and positive school culture. Dr. McMahon chairs, co-chairs or participates in a variety of school based and home-school based committees at South Row including Team Leader, Tier 1, Tier 2, PTO, School Council, International Festival and the School Outdoor Learning space. Dr. McMahon serves on the district Wellness Committee, Evaluation Committee and District Strategic Planning Committee. Dr. McMahon has truly found a home in the South Row community and enjoys being part of all things South Row. Outside of school, she lives with her husband and two young boys, here in Chelmsford. Dr. McMahon enjoys running, working out, reading and ice cream.
