We are in the process of updating our on-line registration system to a new, user friendly system. If you would like to register for any classes please use PAPER REGISTRATION ONLY. Our on-line registration will not be available until March 2019.
Registration forms can be found on-line at Course Registration Form or at the CommEd office, 170 Dalton Road, Chelmsford, MA.
Locations: Classes are held at Chelmsford High School (CHS), 200 Richardson Road, North Chelmsford, MA, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Classes are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Chelmsford Community Education Center (CommEd Center), 170 Dalton Road. Chelmsford, MA.Registration: Registration closes one week prior to the start of each class. There are no registratons accepted on the first night of class/no walk ins accepted. There are no discounts given for one - night classes and seminars. A $10 discount is given to senior citizens age 60 and over for courses only ( no trip discount).Early registration assures you a place in the course and protects against course cancellations due to insufficient enrollment. Once the registration is sent, students should consider their registrations accepted and report to the first class unless otherwise notified. No confirmations are sent, however, you are welcome to call our office to verify receipt.Registrations are accepted in person at the Community Education Office located in the CommEd Center weekdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or by mail, 170 Dalton Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
PAYMENT: By mail, include credit card information, or enclose a check payable to Chelmsford Community Education. Stop by the office to pay by cash, check or credit card. There is a 2.5% convenience fee for using credit/debit cards.
FEES: Fees represent the cost of administering the Chelmsford Community Education program and have been set to make Community Education self-supporting. Additional fees for books, supplies, or materials may be listed in the course description. We reserve the right to cancel any course with insufficient enrollment.
• Class fees and tuition are refundable if there is insufficient enrollment.
• A Full (100%) Refund will be given for cancellations more than 15 days prior to the class start date, less a $10 processing fee.
• A Full (100%) Credit will be given for cancellations 8–15 days prior to the class start date.
• Credits expire one year from date of issue.
• NO REFUND OR CREDIT will be given for cancellations 7 days or less prior to start date.
- TRIPS have a NO REFUND POLICY. Please refer to individual registration forms for details.
- Music Lessons may have different refund policies.

Trips: Trips require separate registration forms; available by clicking this link or in our office.
Inclement Weather: The decision to cancel evening classes due to inclement weather is usually made by 3:00 pm. Check our website or call the Community Education Office at 978-251-5151. Please do not call the High School number. The CommEd Office and its instructors will strive to make up all classes canceled due to inclement weather. However, make-up classes are not guaranteed.
