The Junior Job Shadow Day

The Junior Job Shadow Day - 5/21/19

The Junior Job Shadow Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st and is a school wide initiative for the entire junior class to participate in this career experience.  Students are responsible for contacting a potential job shadow site and for arranging their job shadow experience.  This is an opportunity for juniors to follow an employee at their workplace to learn more about an occupation or industry.  The purpose of job shadowing is to help students explore a range of career options.  For this to be a meaningful experience, a student should shadow someone who works in a career that is of potential interest to that student. The employee who is hosting the student is called a site mentor.  The student experiences a one-on-one interaction with the site mentor during. Click Here.
